Hornedo Campaign Surpasses Half a Million Direct Voter Outreach Attempts
Monday, February 16
Indianapolis, IN — George Hornedo’s campaign for Congress in Indiana’s 7th District has surpassed 500,000 direct voter outreach attempts, marking a major organizing milestone in the 2026 Democratic primary.
Since launch, the campaign has:
-
Knocked 33,451 doors
-
Made 467,377 phone calls
-
Sent 17,854 voter contact text messages
In total, the campaign has engaged in 552,758 direct voter contact attempts without institutional backing or outside political infrastructure.
“This campaign is being built through direct voter engagement,” Hornedo said. “While most campaigns rely on top-down paid media, we’ve built one of the most aggressive Democratic field operations Indiana has seen in years. We’ve knocked on 33,451 doors, made 467,377 calls, and had conversations in every corner of this district. Voters across Indianapolis are hungry for visible, accountable representation and we’re earning every vote.”
The scale of the outreach effort signals an active and competitive primary well ahead of Election Day.
